Maleah grew up in little Odessa Washington, population of almost 800 people. Maleah went to school at Odessa High School where classes averaged about 13 kids. Maleah grew up with three sisters, and one brother. Growing up in a farming community meant learning a work ethic at a young age, such as eight years old. Maleah had started working harvest as soon as her feet could touch the pedals to the wheat trucks, working long days that start at dawn to dusk. Maleah also was Miss Odessa on her free time. Maleah went from town to town on the towns float supporting her farming community with the theme “Country Life”.
Maleah graduated from Odessa High School and moved to North Idaho the same day she had graduated, excited for the different views North Idaho had to offer. Growing up in Odessa, there was a sagebrush bush about every two feet, no traffic lights in a fifty mile radius, with no trees or mountains to look at. Maleah had moved to North Idaho with her boyfriend Skyler, and they plan on staying in North Idaho for a while.
Maleah is the first person in her family that has pursued a career towards law. She has always cared for people and wants to help as much as she can. Going into a career that does just that makes Maleah excited to go to work every day, knowing every day is different. Coming from a community where neighbors help each other, Maleah doesn’t know how to do anything better than that.
