While he enjoyed his time as a Chef, he was offered an opportunity to change careers when he obtained a position as a Senior Project Coordinator for FedEx Kinkos (Later FedEx Office) at their busy downtown Seattle location. With this senor position Field honed his leadership skills as he ensured projects were completed correctly and on-time. It was during this time Field began to work towards a college degree.

Upon completion of his Associated Degree he returned to the Palouse to attend Washington State University in Pullman. Field graduated from WSU with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a Minor in Sociology.
After finishing his studies at WSU, Field decided to take a 50 day, 10,000 mile, motorcycle trip across the United States. Following his trip around the Country, in the fall of 2014, Field began his studies to become a lawyer at the University of Idaho College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in May of 2017. Field believes in giving back to the community and was a volunteer and later co-leader of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance clinic where he earned honors for providing over 80 hours of volunteer pro bono assistance helping individuals and families navigate filing their taxes.
Throughout his time in law school Field worked as a Paralegal and later as a limited practice legal intern for his father, William Herrington, a long-time Idaho attorney, assisting him in all aspects of his practice. Later Field took a job with Baumgarten Law Offices in Pullman focusing on Criminal Defense and Family Law matters. Field enjoys practicing in the areas of local government law & land use, real estate, estate planning, family, and criminal law.
